When it comes to the treatment of memory issues, neuropsychology, neurology, neuroscience, and psychiatry are all independent but closely connected sciences. These illnesses, such as moderate cognitive impairment and Alzheimer’s disease, needs a multidisciplinary approach to diagnosis and fully manage the treatment. Because of our affiliation with a neurology practice, you’ll have access to just such a group of expertise at The Cerd Center.
Memory issues are typically complex, involving numerous views and treatment approaches that an individual physician may not be familiar with. That’s why The Cerd Center works closely with two other practices in the same building: Kurlan Specialized Neurology, LLC, a neurology practice, and Pelorus Elder and Behavioral Health, an adult and geriatric psychiatry practice.
The Cerd Center is able to provide complete care to all patients diagnosed with a memory problem as a result of these agreements. With three clinics under one roof, patients may easily see the specialist they require in the timeframe that is most convenient for them.
As asked by our patients, we collaborate with any or all practitioners. Working with neurologists, psychiatrists, geriatricians, primary care doctors, psychologists, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare experts is second nature to us.
